CATCH Terms of Service

Effective date: 3 November 2026

1. What these terms cover

These terms apply to:

  • the website at thecatchbots.com and any related pages (the "Website");
  • every CATCH Discord bot, current or future, including CatchTunes, CatchCrypto, CatchFocus, CatchPrime and any bot CATCH launches later (each a "Bot");
  • any dashboard, sign-in, support ticket, donation command or paid subscription offered through a Bot (together with the Website and Bots, the "Service").

CATCH is operated by Christopher Jones, doing business as CATCH, an individual in Texas, USA ("we", "us", "CATCH").

By using the Service, adding a Bot to a server, signing in to a dashboard, or buying a subscription, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Bot-specific terms

A Bot or a page for a Bot may add terms that apply only to that Bot (for example, the lofi music credits for CatchTunes, or the no-advice notice for CatchCrypto). Those terms add to these terms. If they conflict with these terms, the Bot-specific terms apply to that Bot only.

New Bots are covered by these terms from the day they are listed on the Website, without a new version of this document.

3. Eligibility

Signing in to a dashboard, buying a subscription, donating and linking a wallet are for people 18 and older. To use a Bot in a server you must meet Discord's minimum age for your country. If you add a Bot to a server, you confirm that you have permission to manage that server.

You must also follow Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. Where Discord's terms apply to your use of Discord, they apply alongside these terms.

4. Your server, your rules

You are responsible for your server, its members, and how you set up the Bots. A newly added Bot changes nothing until a server admin turns a feature on. Each Bot's page lists the permissions it asks for. Only add a Bot where you have Manage Server or own the server.

5. Subscriptions and paid features

5.1 Plans. Some features are free and some are paid. Paid features are sold as subscriptions, per server, as shown on the pricing page of the Bot or Website before you buy. If a plan is sold per account instead, its pricing page will say so. A free trial, if offered, is shown on the same page. For CatchCrypto, Server Pro raises a server's limits (for example more active price alerts, a longer watchlist and more whale alerts); the exact numbers are on the pricing page.

5.2 How you pay. Subscriptions are sold through Discord's own app subscriptions, and payment is processed by Discord under Discord's payment terms. We do not receive or store your card or bank details.

5.3 Renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the price and interval shown when you bought them, until you cancel. A trial that converts to a paid subscription will say so before you pay.

5.4 Cancelling. You can cancel at any time in Discord's subscription settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal. Paid features stay on until the end of the period you already paid for, unless the pricing page says otherwise. When a paid plan ends, nothing you created is deleted; you simply cannot add items beyond the free limits.

5.5 Refunds. You pay Discord, not us, so refunds are handled by Discord under Discord's refund policy, and we cannot refund you directly. Unless Discord's policy or the law says otherwise, a cancelled subscription is not refunded for the unused part of the period you already paid for. If we withdraw a paid feature (5.7), or the law gives you a right to a refund, that right is not affected.

5.6 Price changes. We may change prices. A change does not affect a current subscription until its next renewal, and we will tell you on the pricing page and in our support server before it applies. If a plan was sold at a fixed price for as long as you stay subscribed (for example a founding price), we will keep that price while your subscription stays active.

5.7 Ending a paid feature. If we stop a paid feature, we will tell you in advance where we can, and we will refund any paid period that you cannot use, as required by Discord's policy or the law.

5.8 Donations. Donations (for example, in crypto through CatchCrypto) are voluntary gifts. They buy nothing, are not an investment, are not tax-deductible, and cannot be refunded. Send only the assets and network the /donate command lists; assets sent elsewhere may be lost.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use the Service to:

  • break the law or Discord's rules;
  • harass, threaten or harm anyone;
  • send spam, or promote scams or misleading claims;
  • attempt to overload, attack, break, scrape or reverse engineer the Service beyond what the law allows;
  • get around limits, access or sign in as someone else, or reach data that is not yours;
  • post hateful, sexual or otherwise harmful content through playlist names, suggestions, reports or other text you add.

7. Features with limits

Some features have limits that we describe on the Bot's page. Those limits are part of these terms.

  • CatchTunes streams audio into voice channels and does not download or store audio files. CatchTunes does not use Spotify's service and cannot play Spotify links. To bring a Spotify playlist in, you export it yourself (for example with Exportify) and upload the CSV on the dashboard; CatchTunes reads the song titles, artists and durations from that file to find the songs on YouTube, and does not keep the file. Spotify is a trademark of Spotify AB; CatchTunes is not made, endorsed or supported by Spotify or Discord.
  • CatchCrypto is an information and safety tool. It does not trade, hold funds, manage wallets, or ask for a private key or seed phrase. Nothing it shows is financial, investment, tax or legal advice, or a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any asset. Prices, charts and token data come from third parties and may be delayed, incomplete or wrong. A Bubblemaps link or a security-check result is not a statement that a token is safe. Alerts and scheduled posts (price alerts, whale alerts, gas alerts, price posts, the daily tip and quiz, the daily watchlist message, the weekly safety report and news posts) are best-effort and may arrive late or not at all, for example if a data source or Discord is down, or your DMs are closed; do not rely on an alert to protect a position. /rugcheck and /risk run automated checks on public data; they cannot detect honeypots or hidden contract behaviour, and a clean result is not a statement that a token is safe. When a server admin turns them on, CatchCrypto's safety features can also misfire: scam-link protection checks links against the public MetaMask phishing list and may miss scams or remove a safe link; a new-member link hold removes links from members who joined recently, for the window the admin chooses; and the impersonator watch flags look-alike names to staff, where a staff member decides what to do. These features do not replace human moderation.
  • CatchCrypto donations and roles. CatchCrypto donations are covered in 5.8. The Supporter role for a linked wallet is a thank-you, not a purchase, and server admins can remove it.
  • CatchFocus may ask CatchTunes to play lofi music in a focus voice channel when a server admin turns it on.

8. Lofi music and credits

The lofi music that CatchTunes and CatchFocus play is CATCH's own library. Tracks marked CATCH original are made and owned by CATCH, with AI assistance (ACE-Step 1.5). Other tracks are made by their creators and used under the Creative Commons licence named with each (for example CC BY 4.0, https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/). Every track's title, artist, licence and source, and any attribution it requires, is listed on the CatchTunes lofi credits page, which forms part of these terms. We do not claim ownership of any track made by someone else.

9. Third-party services

The Service relies on Discord; YouTube and YouTube Music (through yt-dlp) for music; LRCLIB for lyrics; price, token, link and news data providers used by CatchCrypto, including CoinGecko, DexScreener, Coinbase, Etherscan and its sister explorers (Polygonscan, Arbiscan, Lineascan, Sonicscan), Bubblemaps, alternative.me (Fear & Greed index), MetaMask's public phishing list (hosted on GitHub), and the FTC and FBI IC3 news feeds; and payment through Discord. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, availability or practices. Their own terms apply when you use them.

10. Our rights

We may change, pause or stop any feature or Bot, limit use, and suspend or block any user or server that breaks these terms or puts the Service or other users at risk. We own the CATCH and Bot names, logos, code and content. You may not use our branding in a way that suggests we endorse you. We may remove a Bot from a server if these terms are broken.

11. Downtime, changes and ending your use

The Service is provided as it is and may go down, change or stop at any time. Where we can, we will tell you on the Website first. You can stop using the Service at any time by removing the Bot from your server, signing out of the dashboard, cancelling any subscription, and asking us to delete your data (see the Privacy Policy).

12. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent the law allows, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We do not promise it will be accurate, uninterrupted, secure or free of errors. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.

13. Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of funds, data, profits or opportunity, including trading decisions, missed or late alerts, and scams a Bot did not catch. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of US $50 or the amount paid for the Service through Discord in the 12 months before the claim. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.

14. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in El Paso County, Texas, or in small claims court where eligible.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the effective date and, for material changes, post a notice on the Website. If you keep using the Service after a change, you accept the new terms. If you do not accept a change, stop using the Service and cancel any subscription.
